so i talked to my dad and he's in baton rouge now. he'll be there for 3 more weeks and he has to live in a tent community.how much does that suck.he doesn't know what he'll be doing exactly yet but he says they are just letting people back in there houses today so its kinda crazy and super hot.He says he's seen some damage but he has NO idea what to expect once he gets to his work location.Crazy.

So my dad leaves monday to work for a disaster relief group. He goes to Atlanta first for training with FEMA and then he goes to Texas and then New Orleans. And he'll be gone for a month. I hate it times 1,000!!! Keep him in your prayers. I know he'll be fine but I've never been w/out my dad for more than a week. On a happier note college is fun and I got a call back for "for fuck's sake". talk to you all soon.

I'm officially moved into my dorm. College seems soo cool. I'm totally nervous because I start school tomorrow morning :/ But my roomate is AWESOME! and our dorm is pink to the max. And two of my best friends are in the dorm right next to us.However its hot as shit here and our dorm is effing stuffy!! but hopefully that will change. So excited. I was told I should update this thing so I suppose I will. Isn't ironic how things work out? Like with Footloose. It was seriously the LAST thing I wanted to/planned on doing this summer. I figured it really wouldn't be all that exciting. But by some stroke of luck its been such an awesome summer and ironically a HUGE part of its awesomeness is because of the Footloose kids. Like people I hardly said three words to in years past are the people I can't wait to see or hang out with evey week. And it seems like issues that were like 500 lb weights on my shoulders have been lifted (woo that sounded lame) but seriously I think I've worked out several issues that have been bugging me for quite sometime and I think the summer has been that much better because issues have been solved. I'm sad that I have to leave in like a month. Just when things start to pick up its like I have to leave it all behind.... Umm ok done rambling. See you guys soon.

Ahhh classic headline. Saw Ocean's 12 tonight. So very good. I saw the Cadenas there, I don't know why that is relevant. But ya good movie. God last night was soooo fun. The girls and I went to a crazy party in San Dimas omg these people are so much fun! The guy dressed like Ali G really looked like Howie D from the Back Street Boys but hey I'm not judging.
